ROPE SAFETY

ON CAMP

We had to wear a harness, a helmet and a carabiner. We first practiced on a rope that was on the ground . Then we had to wait until the other person had unclipped the carabiner off the rope because the rope will move around and it will be had for the other person to clip the carabiner onto the rope .We had to have one carabiner clipped on at all times .Then we went on the high ropes. There was a rope to stand on and a rope to hold onto and one to clip your carabiner on to. It was my first time going on ropes like that. It was extremely fun .

My two lambs sugar and spice

I had two lambs, there names are Sugar and Spice and they are both girls.

There mum died so we looked after them. They were in the paddock at home and my Mum found them when she was feeding the sheep. They had to sleep in a dog kennel. We would get them out and lead them around the lawn.

One day they got sick and Sugar was sick and Spice was fine. The next day spice was dead and sugar was fine.

We put the dead lamb down a very big hole at my house.

We knew the lambs were sick because they would not stand up.

We took the lambs to a person that knows a lot about lambs and it died there and the other one come home.

I felt very sad when the lamb died. I miss Spice because she was a friendly lamb.

Now Sugar is a mum to a boy last year and she was a mum to a girl this year but the lamb died when it was born.
